IPL 2013 Live cricket score, PWI vs CSK at Pune: Chennai register comfortable win

Pune Warriors continue to remain at the bottom of the points table after their 37-run loss to the Super Kings. They started off well, restricting CSK to 29 for two after first six overs, but Super Kings bounced back and proved too strong for them.

All over for the Warriors. A hapless display with the bat once again sumps up their poor run in the tournament as they lose yet another game. Chennai win by 37 runs.

Double breakthroughs! Finch gets a boundary off the third ball off Mohit Sharma towards the third-man area. But two balls later, Mohit gets his revenge as he gets Finch caught behind the wickets by MS Dhoni. Another breakthrough as Tirumalsetti Suman is trapped in front of the wickets on the last ball for a duck.

Finch smashes a six off the last ball off Albie Morkel as Pune take 12 runs from that over. A misfield by Suresh Raina at the extra cover point gifts Pune skipper a boundary on the third ball.

Chennai Super Kings bounced back in a remarkable manner after a slow start to post a huge total against the struggling Pune Warriors. IPL 2013 April 28 match : Chennai Super Kings vs Kolkata Knight Riders, points table

Defending champions KKR will meet the former title-holders Chennai Super Kings in a Pepsi Indian Premier League match in Chennai on Sunday. Match starts at 4PM IST.

CSK are placed comfortably at the second spot with six wins in their eight games while the KKR have just won three in as many matches.

Chennai Super Kings:

Skipper MS Dhoni has done a great finishing touch in the last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, as he scored a blazing 67 runs off just 37 balls. But, the performance of the opener Murali Vijay is little disappointing in this season. He has scored just 122 runs in eight games.

West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has picked 14 wickets for the CSK but he has been struggling with the bat.

Michael Hussey, the left-handed Australian has scored 350 runs, including three half centuries, in the seven matches he has played so far and has provided rapid starts to his side.

Knight Riders, on the other hand, would like to build some momentum after their triumph over Kings XI Punjab on Friday.

As the New Year starts, the anticipation of the upcoming sporting events begins to increase. So for all the cricket enthusiasts, we bring to you the complete cricket schedule for the year 2013.
